National Maritime Museum – Visions of the Universe
“Visions of the Universe shows how we have captured images of the heavens over the centuries, from the earliest hand-drawings to photographs taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and the very latest footage from the Mars Curiosity rover.”
We were tasked with building an interactive exhibit that allowed the viewer to see the sun when “seen” at different spectral ranges. The user as then able to create their own “vision” by blending the spectral ranges together. The aim was to educate visitors around how modern images from space are captured as we are no longer limited to just the visual spectrum.
